In the last game of the regular season, Cy Ranch High School played Cy Springs High School for a chance to go to the playoffs. Cy Springs High School clinched their berth to the playoffs last week, but this was the final opportunity for Cy Ranch High School to punch their ticket in. Texas Takeover Elite was well represented in this high stakes match up with players from both teams who played with the organization during the 2022 Summer. And ALL of these players made a difference and helped decide the game. Take a look at some of the players and how they each performed.
Isaac Saavedra (PG, Cy Ranch HS, 2025)
Isaac led Cy Ranch in scoring with 13 points (including two 3-pointers and 5-6 FT) and also added an assist, a rebound and 2 steals
Evan Coleman (PG, Cy Springs HS, 2023)
Evan controlled the game for Cy Springs contributing 14 points, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. He also led his team AND the game with 4 assists.
Devin Pape (F, Cy Ranch HS, 2023) *Verbally Committed to West Virginia Wesleyan
The BIG man played with high energy all game long, providing a much needed spark for Cy Ranch. Devin finished the game with 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal
Chris Tippins (G, Cy Ranch HS, 2024)
Chris really stepped up when Cy Ranch needed him to. His back to back buckets in the 3rd quarter help Cy Ranch regain the lead for good. Chris finished with 7 points, 1 assist, 6 rebounds and 2 steals
